it seems in version 4 of EF you couldnt filter across multiple child tables. these 2 links explain the situation very well

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14529832/entity-framework-4-0-multiple-joins
this seems like something very simple to do but EF cant seem to do it. especially cause it always creates Left outer joins as this link explains
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/adodotnetentityframework/thread/c00d47b8-c686-4e9f-825c-d4ffb78ee7bd/
. this is ridiculous if you ask me.
has this been resolved with version 6? or is it still an (unacceptable) problem?
