@jddunlap This certainly sounds like an issue with the DevArt provider. It is the responsibility of the provider to select an appropriate database type based on the facets (attributes) of the type passed to it by EF. So either there is no Unicode type that is appropriate or if there is an appropriate type then the provider is not using it for some reason.
